In the spirit of the holiday season, I suggest that we all exhibit some goodwill, smile, shake our heads, and move on. rolleyes.gif

OT, Emily has a very nice rendering of Iapetus by UMSF's own ugordan today as part of her blog's advent calendar. Several Cassini images by UMSF image wizards are featured there, and it's quite a testament to all of your skills that she's chosen to dedicate this to amateur image processing!

A few will take this knowledge and use this power of a dream realized as a force for change, an impetus for further discovery to make less ancient dreams real.

Held off posting this animation last December wink.gif

Note: I've taken the storm front and the background stars from each image and placed them over a generic Saturn background to produce a smoother effect.

EDIT: I've added a three sequence movie on YouTube.
