I found this tee shirt here: http://theshirtproject.org/bin/07_cassini/...ni_layout_guide and my eyeballs fell out of my head.
Cool project. They made art tees from headlines of the news each week. One of those weeks happened to be when they spotted the plumes on Enceladus and so they chose that as their story of the wee to do a design. Problem is that they are out of stock. I spoke with them about donating the art to the Planetary Society and they were excited about that. Anyone on here connected to the right people to inquire about that? I know the shop selection for TPS could use a little bit of an fancy graphics upgrade. although that SURF TITAN tee is kind of cool for the kind of fare one usually sees in a science museum shop. -------------------- |

That's a pretty cool shirt, thanks for pointing it out. We're actually in the middle of an overhaul of our store -- clearing out old merchandise (Big sales now! Clearance prices!) and making ready for new. I've sent this to the folks who care about the store.

I thought you meant this Enceladus tee!

Clearance prices!) and making ready for new. i am wiping a bead of sweat from my forehead. i started a poster celebrating the cassini mission at saturn about a year ago and never finished it. i intended to do it and offer it also as a donation to the society when is this going to happen? i should finish it to show someone over there but all the work all the work. we are in the middle of doing stuff for Phish and their big event in CA this OCT not to mention other less sexy client work. oh the pressure. here is the incomplete design thus far: -------------------- |

Very cool poster.
Just remember that it doesn't always follow that if no one makes a comment on this Forum, that it somehow implies we don't care or dislike anyone's work. Everything that members put here (if appropriate...and we'd tell you if it wasn't) is highly appreciated. |

Beautiful design indeed, but noticed one small error: Cassini's arrival year is given as 2003, should be 2004.

I have been away from the space stuff for a while
so I missed all the nice comments. I should be making efforts to finish side work like this come May 1. Leaving the big city for a simpler life as a design company with no office or employees. Less work, less overhead = more money and better life.
I will post when progress is made. -------------------- |
