For a second there, I thought I'd missed something I'd be kicking myself over! I do get to see the Blue Angels do their stuff from our place every fall.

I think that the coolest skygazing *sight* ever was seeing the Stardust capsule reenter with San Francisco as the backdrop. It looked like it went from SF to Oakland in about 2 seconds.

Cool indeed. How do they do that? Some sort of chroma key on steroids? What software can be used for that?

It would be cool to have, say, a Gemini capsule in lunar orbit. Any takers?
