Thick or Thin Ice Shell on Europa?

Seems to me like some nice eye candy for the purpose of getting Europa into the collective consciousness before the next flagship is chosen. |

The Nature article is quite nice (I'm one of the lucky subscribers). Is there a chance that some of the chaos terrain on Enceladus results from the same mechanism?
