And *controlled* null-grav maneuvers, at that! If you didn't notice, she not only moved laterally about two or three meters, she rotated clockwise 90 degrees. (At least, it seems so to my old, tired eyes...)

If you didn't notice, she not only moved laterally about two or three meters, she rotated clockwise 90 degrees. (At least, it seems so to my old, tired eyes...) Actually, it looks like she rolled sideways, crab fashion. The two shots must have been taken when Spirit was in it's post drive orientation, not while it was still aimed in the drive direction. |

Wow, what resolution!
Well, if HIRISE can't find Beagle, or Mars, or any of the other lost spacecraft littering the Martian landscape, I suppose nobody can. That's as good as aerial reconnaissance. |
