Exciting development.

We don't really know yet what will happen to VIPER, but I expect its launch will be delayed in the wake of the failure of Astrobotic's first flight. However, we do know more about the first flight of the Griffin lander. Whether or not it carries VIPER, it will be carrying a cuberover built by Astrobotic. I think this was the same one that was to be carried to the Moon by the Masten lander before they went bankrupt (and got purchased by Astrobotic). At that time it was called Moonranger. Moonranger was a CLPS project as well.
