QUOTE (Stephane Blondin)
The CfA Supernova Group is pleased to announce the creation of a
publicly-accessible archive for downloading previously published
lightcurves and spectra of supernovae of all types. These data were taken
as part of the ongoing CfA Supernova Program led by Robert Kirshner, and
funded in part by the National Science Foundation. The archive can be
accessed at the following URL:

http://cfa-www.harvard.edu/oir/Research/su.../SNarchive.html

Lightcurves can be downloaded in ASCII format; spectra can be
downloaded in both ASCII and FITS formats. Bulk downloads (e.g., all SN Ia
lightcurves; all SN Ib/c spectra) are also available. The newest available
data include: UBVriJHK lightcurves and one optical spectrum of the
peculiar type-Ib SN 2005bf (Tominaga et al. 2005); V-band lightcurve and
12 optical spectra of the GRB-related SN 2006aj (Modjaz et al. 2006).

Please make sure to read "README: An important NOTE to users" before
using the data from this archive. And remember the Golden Rules:

(1) If your research benefits from the use of the CfA Supernova Archive,
we would appreciate the following acknowledgement in your paper: "This
research has made use of the CfA Supernova Archive, which is funded in
part by the National Science Foundation through grant AST 0606772."

(2) All publications which make use of data in the present archive should
reference the paper(s) listed under "References".
