I read the Nature paper yesterday. then I saw eliBonora animation and I am not convinced. if the jets were really the folds of a curtain eruption, they should change of appearance during such a sequence, but they evidently did not

Anybody ever heard about this: http://danielmarin.naukas.com/2017/02/13/y...celado-en-1980/
(It's in Spanish) It's said and shown the possibility that geisers where visible in one of the Voyager 1 pictures.
May be now the rigth place but I don't know where to post this.

This is what you need:

Our own Ted Stryk's LPSC abstract on that topic. It is the source of that story.

Fantastic result, Ted! This result is of great interest to those planning Enceladus mission proposals right now...

Thanks, all. And if Enceladus mission planners find it interesting, wow! Unfortunately Voyager 2 was in the depths of its scan platform anomaly during the equivalent time during its flyby.
