Hey, if there are any artists out there who feel like contributing to the project, I probably wouldn't say no to a 128x128 icon that could be used on Mac OSX, if it were cool-looking... I don't know if I'll have time to whip one up myself and my artistic skills, well, suck. Heck, if there are any takers, we could even post the entries here, and vote on the best. Just throwing out an idea.

I'm not much of an artist but I created some potential icons for MMB:

I also posted these and some .icns files on my blog. Let me know if you like them or suggest minor changes in the comments on the blog.

Also, the feature request I would like to make for MMB is to be able choose between anaglyphs and cross eyed stereo 3D images.

Also wanted to announce this, especially for you Exploratorium browsers:

Midnight Mars Browser 1.0

I'll start a thread in the Imaging section on this if anybody has any questions/comments/feedback.

Wow, what an awesome program mhoward!

Any chance you could have it auto generate cross-eyed stereo images rather than anaglyphs?

Keep up the good work!

Greetings all,

Carolyn Porco has agreed to answer the 5 best questions we submit to her! This will be conducted similar to a /. interview. Anyone can submit questions, she will answer 5 of them. The interview is being conducted over at http://www.foxcheck.org. I'd also like to invite people here to join our nascent community at foxcheck.org (a scoop community with the tagline: News and Opinion on Science, Politics and Technology) where anyone can submit stories to the site.

Cheers,

Y

Worth a look. Gives a location of Hygens Lander.

http://www.futura-sciences.com/communiquer.../sort/1/cat/525

Don't get too excited djellison. The landing site, according to the guys at the IRC #space room, was just picked at random.

That is not entirely accurate volanopele

One person was claiming different. Do not slam all the people in #space

Some of us are quite modest (not I) and thankful that you visit.

p.s. is centered text the default here?
