And here we're not. That was a surprise, I thought we would stay there for a couple of weeks. Sol 1604. I did not draw the path yet, still not sure about it.

I'm not at home right now so this is very quick, but the position is reliable. We moved maybe 12 m north and just a bit west. Looks like another peek at Ireson Hill before going to the next dune stop. Proper map update over the weekend.
Phil EDIT: replaced preliminary map with a finished one. The sol 1604 drive path is still uncertain.

sol 1610 - we drove east to get around a rocky mound, and then south across a bit of drift to get here:
Proper map update this evening my time. Now I have to run to class! (although it can't start without me). EDIT - I had a bad position this time... so the map has been replaced with a corrected one based on the JPL map. Instead of going east and a little bit south it was a little bit east and then south. Update to sol 1617, back at the dunes for a while.

(reminder - on this style of map the small white squares are places where the arm instruments are used: any combination of MAHLI, APXS, DRT, occasionally the drill or scoop) -------------------- ... because the Solar System ain't gonna map itself.

Here's an up-to-date wide-angle map. They've been keeping pretty close to the "future route" mapped out on previous versions of this map. We're almost all the way across the dune field but there's still at least 1 km of Murray to cross before we get to Hematite Ridge.
