Sol 376 - Navcam 360's...
2-D (full frame): Anaglyph (bottom cropped): (The near forgrounds on these 360 Nav anaglyphs often blend up with a variety of alignment differences between channels so I usually focus on getting the horizons and surrounding terrain well blended instead. The bottoms are cropped to minimize the very near foreground misalignments. We're moving along at a pretty fast clip these days so I don't labor over the foreground mismatches a great deal...) -------------------- "We shall not cease from exploration, and the end of all our exploring will be to arrive where we started and know the place for the first time." -T.S. This is a Mastcam-100 which just came down - with a severe contrast stretch (which messes up color so I removed it). What a great view of the distant rim and the winding valley!

The resulting effect is very inmersive. The eye does not suffer sighting from foreground to background. Congratulations. |

Nice!
Another drive on sol 378, quite a long one. This is a quick look at the location with what's available right now. Phil -------------------- ... because the Solar System ain't gonna map itself.

Sol 377 - Navcam 360's. Nice shot of the tracks in this set - curving back through a sandy hollow, over some bumpy terrain, and out the other side...

... and a circular version of it. Great view of those tracks. (I used another image to mask out part of the rover for a better look back)
