Sorry - the lost civilization thread went political. It's now deleted. Thank you very much - I started the thread at the start of the day and was going to read the thing after I come back home, before going to bed. You have succesfully prevented me from reading ANY of the replies. ... (rest of post re-discussing the subject deleted - Doug) -------------------- |

When I read the news on Yahoo, the analogy was so striking...... Striking compared to, say, SETI? Go and read the rules: QUOTE - 1.3 Astrobiology - Discussion relating to biological instrumentation past or proposed is acceptable. i.e. Viking instrumentation yes. Martian Meteorites, SETI, Red Raid - no. This may meet objection, but again - there are other places for this sort of discussion, take it there That post was bending the rules to begin with. It went bad as I expected it would. I deleted it as I ultimately expected I would have to. There are other forums out there which I am sure would be glad to play host to a discussion about it. |
