Hey, all. Happy New Year, and to our new members welcome to UMSF! smile.gif Thought this would be a good time to ask everyone to please take a minute to read (or re-read, if you'd like) the Rules & Guidelines section via the link in the top left corner of the Forum frame.

It's always a good idea to keep these well in mind, and for the new people it's also very beneficial to review the old threads to get a feel for how we roll here. (Bonus: Doing so is also incredibly informative and often downright fascinating; the sheer amount of talent, knowledge, and expertise here is staggering.)

2019 promises to be an extremely busy terrestrial year in robotic spaceflight with all kinds of things happening--InSight, OSIRIS-REX, Hayabusa 2, the ongoing download of New Horizons Ultima Thule data, Chang'e-4's lunar landing, to name just a few in addition to the many other ongoing missions--so we'll have plenty to talk about indeed. Plus, we are also privileged to have many of the people who do these things for a living here amongst our membership to provide their unique expert views and explanations, which is one of the special things about our little community.

Accordingly, let's press on with pride, enjoy the ride, and make this place the best it can be. smile.gif

Thanks for your words Nicolas,

In the ol’ times, once in a while, admins used to provide us some statistics about the forum like: number of hits, number of members etc.
I wonder if those informations will be of interest for UNMSFers.
Thanks
