It was nine years ago (yes 9!) that Spirit bounced down into Gusev Crater and into the history books.
Her sister rover Opportunity would follow a few weeks later, half a world away at Meridiani Planum.

Congratulations to all of the Mars Exploration Rover team. We will always remember Spirit and will continue to follow Opportunity through all the adventures to come.

The time just flew... my goodness. I found this forum a month of two after landing, and haven't left since. And the images are all right there. Looking at Spirit's last pictures now.
