Not space related (yet), but I figure there is some interest on this forum about new/alternative imaging systems...
This is a section of a SIGGRAPH course posted yesterday that gives an introduction to lensless cameras. Some features include extracting high-frame video from a single still image acquired with a rolling-shutter camera, and also recovering 3D scene information from a single exposure. "Compressed sensing with lensless cameras" from Nick Antipa UCSD: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z_AtSgct6_I&t=2606s A later section of the course may also be of interest "Practical models of perception in graphics" from Rafał Mantiuk University of Cambridge: https://youtu.be/z_AtSgct6_I?t=7327s |
