Approximately true color/contrast and enhanced images processed from raw image PJ61_137. Long and fairly prominent haze bands are visible in the enhanced versions.

Question for anyone doing raw processing that does not use my flat-field/gains.
Does the color of the charismatic storm appearing in PJ61_133 through PJ61_137 change between images? (For me is particularly noticeable in b* channel of L*a*b* color values in contrast stretched images.) |

Anyone else notice what appear to be a few pixels with missing high order bits in the raw png files?
These appear as single noticeably dark pixels in bright areas. For example in JNCE_2024133_61C00137_V01-raw.png they are at locations {{554, 3791}, {707, 4331}, {1069, 6634}, {1547, 8205}, {1056, 10767}} (+/- 1). Circled in read in this image:

These could easily be bit flips in the DRAM that stores the images temporarily before they are sent to the spacecraft. I'm a little surprised these haven't shown up before, but I haven't really been looking.
