When it's a small thumbnail like that the resemblance to Meridiani is uncanny (excepting the most recent year of Oppy's travels!)
Looks like drilling will be happening sometime soon?

While awaiting the full download of all images of Sol 752, I have assembled a first preview, style postcard, with the images available at this time.

Now in the foreground we can see tiny bits of what may be light-toned crack fill, consistent with the crack formation being ancient. Here though it doesn't form ridges, in fact it's scarcity on the surface suggests it is softer than the rock and mostly recessed.

Jan's panorama from sol 753 in circular form - we are right at the northwest point of the outcrop.

What's the true colour of this rock? Is it as white as it looks in black and white pictures?

The navcam views are auto-stretched pretty severely, making the outcrop look almost white. The colour mastcam views should give you a better idea, subject to the usual caveats about green cast, varying display devices, etc, etc...

We won't really know the color of the rocks until the dust is brushed away.

Sol 752 Mastcam pan :

Note that it will my last pan before a long time. Many reasons… I feel discourage to process MER and MSL pictures. I have the impression that we are at an industrial time of imagery processing. Scripts, automated process, more powerful computers than mine. You have to understand that most of my production is completely manual, with mouse pointings, drag&drops, etc. It's time consuming. Maybe it's a little bit selfish, I know, but I can't even compete.

I will continue to check this place, and Twitter wink.gif And maybe propose one Postcard, I don't know.

See you all smile.gif

I think you should understand that most contributors are competing against YOU! From my own personal perspective it is you that sets the benchmark in many respects.
