Dunes on Tatooine

well, ok, dunes in Tunisia. But the Mos Espa film set from Episode 1 makes a nice fiducial marker to observe barchan migration in commercial satellite imaging. More on Emily's blog at http://www.planetary.org/blogs/guest-blogs...n-tatooine.html . Story was picked up by BBC over the weekend
