Hello
Someone know where i can find the MARINER-VENUS 1967 Final Project Report version .pdf I cant find it online. I know about the MARINER-VENUS 1962 Final Project Report version. I am trying to get a 1967 version. Also has anyone ever seen the pioneer venus multibus pressure vessels in any museum? I know there was an engineering mockup for the large probe to study packaging methods but dont know if it was put in museum. thanks |

Try saving it directly to your computer then opening it - it worked for me.

The link worked fine for me. (Thanks, Ted! I really enjoy the nostalgia, and those first three successful Mariners epitomize early planetary exploration.)
FWIW, the document's title produced no useful hits on Google (just contact info for buying a hardcopy from various antiquarians). Because the content is represented as a graphic instead of text, it's unsearchable. |

For those who just saved it to hard drive.
did the first page say MARINER VENUS 1967 final Project Report? (in the pdf) I downloaded it from the link on the forum here and it showed up as 19900013957_1990013957.pdf and the first page said The Pioneer Venus Orbiter: 11 Years of Data A Laboratory for Atmospheres Seminar Talk Thats nice but the content doesnt seem like a "final report". I was hoping for a pdf of whats shown here http://siris-libraries.si.edu/ipac20/ipac....#33;16887!0 |

Yes, it is the correct document and does say final project report. It is for Mariner V, not Pioneer Venus.

It is a nearly 30 megabyte file - too big to e-mail.

Not the official final report, apparently, but 234 pages of goodies here.
