I'm trying to figure which moons are which and orbital locations for PIA11141.
But using JPL's Solar System Simulator to view Saturn from Cassini the best match I get is July 2nd, 2008 at 10:00 UTC, 30 degree angle of view, body of Saturn set to 70% but it's still off. I don't need a perfect visual match but just want to correctly identify all the moons - Titan and Enceladus are easy but after that I'm not 100% sure. What am I doing wrong? -------------------- stephen van vuuren

One thing to keep in mind is that the mosaic doesn't represent a single snapshot in time but is made up of 10 separate footprints or frames each with three separate color filter images. Cassini has to turn to capture each frame and these turns and the exposures themselves take time, so the images that make up this mosaic were taken over a period of 2 hours and 10 minutes.
BTW, the images in this mosaic were acquired on July 23, 2008 between 13:20 and 15:50 UTC. -------------------- &@^^!% Jim! I'm a geologist, not a physicist!
