Howdy, UMSFers! I've got a bit of a request, and it's on somewhat of a short notice (sorry!)

So this semester I'm helping to teach a class about Mars, and this coming Monday (as in Oct 26th) we're going into what's called the IVC (and for those who wants specs, they're here: http://ivc.tamu.edu/index.html) It's a big visualization screen that can do 3D and all other sorts of neat things. Thing is, they only have a handful of Mars images, including the Phoenix 360 stereo panorama I gave them. They have one from Pathfinder, one from Mars Express, and one from Opportunity inside Eagle Crater. I could give them all the Phoenix stereo images and quite a few MER ones, but they're requesting that they be in stereo color, which I don't have.

The screen requires them to be separate images (so separate left and right eye images) and they don't have to be 100% accurate color. If anyone could send me a handful of pretty ones from any mission, I'd really appreciate it! We plan on spending the rest of the class time playing around in Google Mars, so it doesn't have to be many.

Thanks in advance!

This site has a few color cross-eyes:

There are also stereo pairs in the HiRISE catalog:

Nearly all of the images in these two directories ...
http://www.met.tamu.edu/mars/acol/lindex.html
http://www.met.tamu.edu/mars/acol/lindex1.html

... have matching right eye images in these two directories ...
http://www.met.tamu.edu/mars/6col/
http://www.met.tamu.edu/mars/6col/index1.html

Some of the matches may be in other directories at that site; a few were taken unmatched, especially of TEGA. I suppose I could have a minion put some of those together for you. cool.gif
