ohmy.gif I got an email back from Dr Parker saying he thought it was very nice!!!

WOW- Great stuff. Where do you think the bluish colour comes from?

I was hoping we would get to see Opporunity's heatshield - but it doesn't look like they're in any hurry to leave Endurance crater any time soon. sad.gif

Dont be so sure - they're taking lots of what I would classify as planning imagery for an exit route smile.gif

i've been on holiday the last month or so. so can anyone tell me what oppy is going to do next? heatshield first? I got that they are going to that huge Victoria crater. but between that?

Thanks for the kind words. Here are the shield images closeup, from the Cornell version on the left and my version on the right, taken from earlier on in processing, before I began working to compensate for the brightness of the shield in relation to the martian surface and make cosmetic alterations.
