The Netherlands-China Low Frequency Explorer (NCLE) experiment has (partially) deployed its antennas. According to the commentary on this page, Queqiao will function as a radio astronomy observatory during the lunar farside night.

However, they have had some difficulty deploying the antennas to full length.
QUOTE
The longer stay behind the moon most probably did have an effect on the antennas. At first, the antennas unfolded smoothly, but as the process progressed, it became increasingly difficult. The team therefore decided to collect data first and perhaps unfold the antennas further at a later point in time. With these shorter antennas, the instrument is sensitive to signals from around 800 million years after the Big Bang. Once unfolded to their full length, they will be able to capture signals from just after the Big Bang.

QUOTE (Phil Stooke @ Nov 5 2019, 04:29 PM) *
...and to reflect my hope that the prominent crater SW of the current position will be investigated.

The latest released imagery (here) appears to show this crater, though I'm not skilled enough to determine where this image was taken or if it represents a move toward that crater, however the text on the site appears to suggest that's the case. Translated with Google,

QUOTE
After confirming the terrain, we took two steps to the south to reach the dormant point, where we performed color panoramic imaging of the target crater. From the panoramic image taken by the ring, the impact crater is deep and mysterious, and beside it, scattered stones of unknown origin. When you stare at the abyss, the abyss is also staring at you, maybe you can solve the mystery by just going further ...

I think it is that crater. Here is my interpretation of the new imaging, two views approximately identified, with a trace of the tracks from one of them. I used that to update the map.

There has been a massive data release to the Chinese PDS at http://moon.bao.ac.cn, apparently comprising 38 Gb of data. I haven't quite figured out how to get to it myself, but there are some pointers in this twitter thread.

WOAH....this is the first thing I could download and generate....just the first 6 images from the rover panoramic camera data.

Heads up - download the label AND the product.... and then open the label using the PDS4 viewer here : http://sbndev.astro.umd.edu/wiki/PDS4_Viewer

Straight up stitch, and debayered stitch attached.

(I'm dumping stuff here as I process it : https://dougellison.smugmug.com/Change-4-Yutu-2/i-SsB4MDr )

Fantastic stuff, Doug. As is my wont, I had to make a circular projection of the 23 November panorama (after a bit of cosmetic work) (on the picture, not on me personally).

The crater with the glass in it is near the outer edge at 4 o'clock. I have roughly oriented it with north near the top.

So this mosaic from July 29th 2019 is maybe the glass?

I can see why it got their attention, but oh boy was that a case of lost in translation.

Did a lot of processing last night - and tweeted out a thread on how to process the images as well

https://threadreaderapp.com/thread/12133264...shed=1578189033

This 6 frame mosaic from site 48 is probably my favorite.

Doug has been tweeting site numbers, which are in the filenames along with the date. Here is a map with the site numbers I have seen so far. Please let me know if any more can be added, or if there is a map or table in the data release with this information.

Another of Doug's panoramas reprojected. This is the one from 28 February with severe sun glare in the east - taken soon after sunrise and showing the cluster of rocks which were the subject of the first VNIS analysis of a rock rather than regolith. I cleaned up some of the contrast variations.

Doug posted another panorama, this time from Feb. 11th at site 10. It is exactly the same location as the image above, from the Feb. 28th panorama at site 11, but with evening lighting instead of morning.

... and Doug's new panorama from site 5, 31 January. This was very bland in the original so I have pulled out detail in the down-sun direction.

Phil

Also - this is the updated site numbers map. Maybe they should be called panorama numbers, if end of day and start of the next day panoramas at the same site have different numbers.

Is there a gap in the panorama numbers that would be a helpful panorama, Phil?

I would like to see anything around number 40, lunar day 6. The tracks there are complicated, it would be good to see them. But I'm happy with anything and everything!
