I'm currently working on allowing access to another forgotten dataset. This dataset consists of three CD volumes (VGR_2101, VGR_2102 and VGR_2103). The input tapes to this CD volume set consist of the Voyager mosaics of all the satellites of Jupiter. The images were originally intended for use in an atlas of the Voyager satellites. This data set was created at JPL as part of its Science Digital Data Preservation Task (SDDPT). This dataset like many others SDDPT data sets is not readily usable, as they represent bit copies of old data tapes and do not contain user documentation.
Here is a sample of what is contained in this data set: Image GS10906 -------------------- Free software for planetary science (including Cassini Image Viewer).
