So I just stumbled on a special on the Science Channel called Passport to Pluto and Beyond. Forgive me if its a rerun and already been discussed here.
Alan Stern is featured quite a few times of course, and at one point he talks about the Jupiter "Kodak Moments" and credits "the bloggers" and there are a couple screen shots of UMSF that they show. How cool is that? I'll try and grab it on the DVR if it replays again. (Hi Alan, the suit and tie for the interview was a good call. It made you look authoritative.) -------------------- If Occam had heard my theory, things would be very different now.

Passport to Pluto and Beyond just hit my desk as a DVD.
As Dan mentioned there's a piece with Alan Stern giving mention to the "amateur explorers" and those Kodak moments at Jupiter, with reference to UMSF. Here's a video extract covering that piece. umsf_nh.wmv ( 885.66K ) Number of downloads: 871 |
