Just a few bits and pieces for people interested in planetary science conferences.

First, the Solar System Exploration Research Virtual Institute (https://sservi.nasa.gov/) has been very good at putting meetings online, including recordings and posters.

Here is the European Lunar Symposium meeting from May this year:

Next, LPSC, the venerable Lunar and Planetary Science Conference. It was just announced that next year's meeting in mid-March 2023 will be held in person in The Woodlands, Texas (a bit north of Houston on I-45), plus virtually. It's been at The Woodlands for over 10 years. Unfortunately LPSC presentation recordings were only available for a few weeks after the meeting.

After next year's meeting they are looking for a new venue outside Texas. That will be a first for LPSC. I do regret that it had to move away from the JSC area south of Houston, which I enjoyed for many years, but I won't really miss The Woodlands.

This is the program for the 13th Moscow Solar System Symposium. As you might imagine it is mostly a Russian affair this year, though in the past there was heavy involvement from Europe and the US. The program is in English. Abstracts in English will probably be available after the meeting (often a month or more later) and they often contain lots of goodies.

Does anyone have a link for the DPS 2022 abstracts? I checked their website and it was showing only the block schedule which doesn't seem to have links to abstracts.

They're there, but well hidden! Go to the block schedule, scroll down until you hit the blue colored blocks representing the oral sessions. Click the title link for the oral session. At the bottom of the session page in teeny writing are the titles of the presentations. Click on the titles to get to the presentation page. There's a blue link at the bottom that opens the abstract in a new window.

LPSC time is approaching and some time in the next few days the program will be live. You can expect a lot of good stuff. I will be attending virtually with a poster.

is the program page, currently showing a list of accepted abstracts but no links. Even so it makes fun searching - I see some things on the Chandrayaan 3 landing site and Ingenuity's activities, for instance, but so much more.

I'm on the fence about attending virtually. Don't have funding to travel to LPSC so I would have to self finance and $450 is a lot of watching Zoom presentations all day. That said I'm second author on a poster (#2544) and I am really proud of all the work I did that went into that. Probably the most I've done for LPSC in a long time.

The abstracts for the European Lunar Symposium are posted at this link. Some Shadowcam images, and quite a bit on upcoming CLPS missions, among many other things. One nice item is an abstract by Jessica Flahaut et al. on the upcoming ispace Hakuto-R landing in Atlas crater.

Last month's MEPAG (Mars Exploration Program Analysis Group) meeting now has presentations and recordings online - except, unfortunately, for the MSL ans M2020 presentations. I hope they will appear in due course.
