If you're going to go for deities, go for some dead ones, like Odin or Marduk. Yeah, Marduk.

"Marduk, you totally rule."

"I totally already know that. Eat your Stimutacs."

Apologies for the Sealab 2021 reference.

Well, not really. biggrin.gif

Mayor: Er, Master Betty, what is the Evil Council's plan?

Master Betty: Nyah. Haha. It is EVIL, it is so EVIL. It is a bad, bad plan, which will hurt many... people... who are good. I think it's great that it's so bad.

J.J.:

Odin is dead? When?

Damn.

I thought he was just... ...resting.

Resting perhaps but surely still keeping an eye on things.

Keeping an eye out, eh?

Aye - an eye. smile.gif Well provided you ignore the input from his ravens which might count as an extra four. I'm curious about the idea that he's supposedly dead or asleep. Sidelined more like, but not forgotten, we've still got Wednesdays after all.

By the way what has this got to do with MSL? Are we expecting to find some evidence of Norse settlements in Valles Marineris when we eventually get there. smile.gif

Helvick:

Exactly! That's the secret plan. Well, more or less. The idea is to take Odin's sleeping form into the wet depths of Valles Marineris, where he may regain consciousness (or so goes the theory expounded by ASGARD Research Labs). It won't work, though - you can take a Norse to the water, but you can't make him think!

Whatonmars.com has picked up a press release announcing that Alliance Spacesystems has been awarded the engineering contract for the MSL arm. I guess kudos are in order for mars_armer.
