Really nice view, thank you!
Here's an anaglyph version of it for those (like me) that can't handle cross-eyed images.

The sol 390 drive had a pretty good descent, about 4 meters down.

Sol 390 ...this one offers a good perspective of the downhill movement. A bit softer softer ground in that sandy hollow to be sure...

Here is a small preview of the Sol-384 pan. I'm waiting for one more image on the Sol-375 pan, and one was also taken on Sol-389 as well. smile.gif

My take on this pair of images. I usually don't try stereo views of mosaics. I kind of figured it would be, but it's hard! Once again -- I really appreciate the work the regulars contributors put into these at almost every stopping point.

Has Curiosity seen this kind of layered rock up close before?

Long-baseline stereo views of one of my favourite parts of the foothills, from sols 384 and 390.

Also, it's amusing how the foreground rocks mimic the distant buttes/mesas in this image:

I'm not shure, whether we see layers or scratches, e.g. of glacial origin, or results of some other erosive process.
At Point Lake there have also been parallel features: Sol 306 MR image.
That's some similarity to earlier features, I can remember, though not necessarily a result of the same processes.
