Damia, nobody colorizes a Navcam panorama like you do! I took the liberty of making a couple of different reprojections of it.

Interesting to see how the blended sky looks in Damia's very nice panorama. Given that the horizon is a challenging area to render correctly it makes sense that some extra blending was needed. I can sort of eyeball how that would work out, though a closer look might help as well. I'm gradually working on a Monte Carlo version of the sky images so we'll hopefully get to see how that compares.

Yeah, I saw the pictures that will coming from Sol 1931. I just hope there will be no Bayered-jpeged compression there…

So it appears that we're at the highest spot we'll attain until we reach the actual foothills of Mt. Sharp and need to go down into the valley ahead to get to that point. How much elevation are we to lose on that trek down and across before we begin climbing again?
