The main page of the PDS is undergoing some redesign, and they've created a new spot, the "Data Search" tab, as a starting point for people looking for data:

https://pds.nasa.gov/datasearch/data-search/

They are interested in feedback, so go test-drive it and let them know what you think through the "feedback" link at upper right.

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT: The Planetary Data System is seeking input from amateur users of the PDS for a customer satisfaction survey that will shape the future of the PDS and how its data are made available to the public. If you have ever even attempted to use PDS data, please respond to the survey, even if you found it too confusing/too much work. (Perhaps especially if so.)

QUOTE
We are writing to let you know about an important opportunity to have a voice in the future of PDS. NASA has commissioned a customer satisfaction survey of PDS as part of a yearlong assessment of archiving in NASA's Planetary Science Division. The results of this survey may impact the future direction of the PDS on a level comparable to recommendations from the Decadal Survey.
You already may have received one or more emails directly from the CFI Group, containing an individualized link to the survey that is only for you. If so, please use that link to take the survey. Otherwise, you can take the survey here: https://feedback.app.cfigroup.com/l/r/NASAPDSGen

If you have not already done so, we would encourage you to set aside 15 to 20 minutes to take the survey sometime this week. The first part of the survey addresses PDS as a whole, while the second part allows you to respond to questions specific to an individual node.
