I'm planning to be at the AGU conference in a week. A number of planetary science talks and posters are scheduled. Any other UMSFers going to be there? What are the highlights of the conference in your view?

I'll be there. The Mars related talks/posters, lots of Dawn talks and the Sagan Lecture by Geoff Marcy are some priorities for me.

I'll be there Monday and Tuesday -- covering Dawn for sure!

I'll be there, but this time only at the sessions covering vegetation cover change on that funky third planet from the sun.

Here's a new thing, and very interesting... AGU now offers e-posters... go here:
http://eposters.agu.org/eposter-search/ and select Planetary Science in the Section box. Then choose a day at a time and see the posters for that day. Obviously, only the ones that have been submitted this way, but there are some nice ones. Most are PDF files, a few Powerpoints. There are also now videos posted for certain sessions: http://sites.agu.org/fallmeeting/scientifi...ions-on-demand/
To list the talks in particular sessions go here - and "continue as guest" where you can "Show Only" the Oral sessions on Planetary Science: http://agu-fm11.abstractcentral.com/s1apla...ractcentral.com Almost as good as being there! Steve |
