Wheel check bump during 2296, MP shows it as SW ~1.2 meters.
This time from a new camera position!

Here is my take on two cropped versions on the fantastic MastCam Right panorama of sol 2287.
Indeed Sean, it was tricky to stitch together pictures of Mount Sharp! Pictures are all homogeneous with really few details.
I'm now working on the whole panorama with an extended sky.

And there are nice RMI telephoto to colorize with MastCam... So many interesting photo processing to do!

My interpretation of the morning view on Sol 2287.
I think that this sequence of images is one of the most beautifully taken by the MSL team for the whole mission...
With deBayerized and processed images.
Congratulations to the MSL team !
Enjoy smile.gif

Here is the panorama from Sol 2287 with a HiRISE scaled CG Curiosity for context...

Lots of photoshop to deal with debayered issues, extended sky.

A little thread housekeeping: I have just tied this thread off as of the morning of sol 2297, when Curiosity drove away from Rock Hall and started toward the clays. According to Ashwin the rover almost immediately drove on to the clay-bearing unit (though it was probably not sol 2297 but a bit later). New thread here: Traversing the Clay-Bearing Unit
