Not sure how advanced you need but there are some good introductions out there. I always like JPL's tutorial sites:
The Basics of Spaceflight

NASA Glenn has an educational outreach page:
Beginner's Guide to Propulsion

y me gusta la Wikipedia:
Spacecraft Propulsion

And hope you have a fast connection or lots of free time:
Encyclopedia Astronautica

And I just found Greg Goebel's amazing site:
Spaceflight Propulsion

That should get you started - unless you are hoping to BUILD your own rockets, which I can only point you in this direction:
