These pictures looks like a topography drawing of a mining field!
![]() I had troubles to identify them if these are mound or crater. The funny part is that these mound have layers with very clear stair-steps. However these mound are inside of a big crater which were filled periodically by a water. Hence that zone was sedimented on the floor fo mounds. That zone is a windy zone which have sculputed these mound with ripples of dark tone over millions years. Very interesting place for MSL landing but it seems somewhat complicated to land since its epsile is so narrow (3kmx3km). Overall, the view is very beautiful. ![]() Rodolfo |
