Narrow angle images of the outer A ring and the F ring taken during one of these sequences clearly shows the core of the F ring and the outer A ring illuminaged by the ring-bounce light from saturn's night side!

At the edge of the shadow, you can also see a faint continuous sheet of material all the way from the F ring to the A ring in the sunlit area, but not in the shadow.
