Good afternoon, I’m Byron Jones and this is the Flight Director report for Tuesday May 31st.

Over the weekend Spirit hit a big landmark as she rolled through her 500th sol and today is sol 501 for her. She’s been doing some IDD work and remote sensing on Larry’s outcrop and she’ll be there the next few sols as well.

On the other side of Mars, Opportunity has been embedded in a sandtrap for the last month or so and Opportunity, over the last 20 sols, has commanded just over a 100 meters of driving and she’s gotten just over a half meter of progress.

That’s what’s happening on Mars today. Thanks for tuning in.
