At the least I'd like Spirit to check out the 'Ultreya' area. Is it shadow, is it dark dirt, or what? I imagine that once they crest the hill and check out Ultreya and poke at whatever is up top, they will head to that area. It seems like the most obvious place to go, unless it's not 'really' that dark for some reason or other, but surely it has to be different somehow or other..
I'm not even sure what home plate is, or where it is. Is it a big flat spot? That might be interesting. It would be nice if Spirit could reach the walls of Gusev Crater, but somehow I doubt that's going to happen, but then, who can say, eh? Whatever happened to those big 'monolith' chunks on the hills that we could see from the plains, anyway? |
