I've just finished one of my Mars rover movies, this one using both front and rear cameras to show Spirit's climb up Columbia Hills, from Larry's Lookout to the Husband Hill summit. I know NASA and Midnight Browser have their versions, but I've come up with a new twist with my versions: I colourized my video to give it (I think) a more dramatic look. So check it out, enjoy the ride and I hope you like the accompanying music by a local band called Vegas Beach.

The Spirit sol 400-600 movie is on the homepage and on my videos page.

Cheers,
Aldo.

QUOTE (Malmer @ Oct 11 2005, 06:28 PM)
I use a macro that i made for shake but its possible to do it using various software.

On way is to use 3dsmax and map the images onto the inside of a sphere using "shrinkwrap" mapping. tile the image 2.92 times...

You could use panotools. (horizontal fov 122deg)

It would be übercool to make qtvr films.

i dont have the authoring software so i rendered this out of max...OppyMOVIE
