Good morning, I’m Byron Jones and this is the Flight Director report for Thursday, November 10th.

On Spirit today is sol 660. Earlier this week, she finished the longest drive ever in the Columbia Hills, of just under 100 meters. There, she will be spending her weekend. First she’ll be doing some RAT brushing, then some microscopic imaging followed by Alpha Particle X-ray Spectrometer work and then some Moessbauer work.

On the other side of Mars, it’s sol 639 for Opportunity. Earlier this week, she did some work with the instrument arm at an outcrop, where they did some RAT brushing, also some Alpha Particle X-ray Spectrometer work, some microscopic imaging and also some Moessbauer work.
Later this week, she’ll be doing a five-meter drive towards a new outcrop, where they will be sitting for the weekend and doing some Moessbauer work and Alpha Particle X-ray Spectrometer work.

Well that’s it for today, I’m Byron Jones and that’s what’s happening on Mars today!
