Maybe I'm getting impatient but are there any news of this issue ? It would be particularly interesting to know (if possible) exactly *what* was different last Monday because back then I and apparently more UMSF members could access UMSF from home for the first time for weeks. Unfortunately this lasted only a few hours.

I am still able to access UMSF from home. (Although I am doing so from work at the moment).

Can you email me the IP from which you can't access ( same is true for every one )

doug@rlproject.com or unmannedspaceflight@gmail.com - either's good.

My access to UMSF has improved with my new ISP (bellsouth.net) but I'm still having intermittent glitches. When it does timeout it doesn't make it past "209.215.191.22", which I presume is the modem pool at my local Bellsouth node. Oddly, I've traced some "timeout" problems to the 'puter being put in "standby mode", which clears up on a re-boot.

FWIW, here is a tracert on a good-connecting day. It's been years since I've messed with this, but I can see where it wanders around the bellsouth network for a while and makes it over to Doug's network.
