I really like the surface of this rock. It's reminiscent of Oppy's meteorite rock, though I don't think this is a meteorite. I like the hole on the extreme left side and all the fiddly bits in the indentation toward the middle.

My favorite region on this rock is the smooth shiny top left surface. Could this be a meteorite too? Or just of volcanic origin? How about the product of erosion by wind?

I think I like the questions more than the answers.

Wouldn't it be a hoot to knock-off (i.e replicate cheaply) some of the more "controversial" martian rocks and sell them as
"pet martians" to some of the other boards out there! laugh.gif

BTW: Thanks mizarkey for a cross-eyed stereo that I can see clearly at an ergonomic distance from my screen

I used to be an anaglyph junkie in the early days of the roving, mainly because I had paid the $6/pair for the hard plastic frame glasses...but these cross-eyed stereo images are so much easier to make and the depth of field is better for my money. I have a 19" screen at home running 1280x960, but I try to keep the width of these stereo pairs to 1024 for you 17" screeners. rolleyes.gif
