I am surprised that no crater rims of small nearby craters have stood out for either rover, particularly Spirit, as it has travelled farther.
I am particularly thinking of the crater on the Viking 1 horizon. I have attached an image I produced. Pathfinder also photographed a crater rim, "Big Crater." Although Opportunity photographed Endurance on the horizon, it never appeared as a ridge without a view inside. Has either rover never photographed a crater like this, or have I just missed it? Thanks, Ted -------------------- |
