Relay test, For the next phase of MRO's life

Looks like Spirit has been transmitting info via MRO. So, MRO's now helped both rovers, and will probably help MGS soon. Just will have Odyssey, and maybe Mars Express, and we'll have the full run;-)

How much relaying will MRO do for the MERs in this phase? I thought it wouldn't be that active as a relay although the capacity would be huge.

My guess is unless they survive until PSP is over (Which is in about 2 years), then only in case of an emergancy, but that's a guess (I don't know that much about MRO operations as a whole)
