Another BBC radio 4 alert - this time a series of 3 half-hour programmes called 'From Sputnik to Satnav'
The first one is at 9pm tonight (in less than an hour's time), the second at the same time next week and the third (presumably) the week after. They seem to be having a bit of a space 'theme' on Radio 4 just now. I'm never quite sure where to post these - Doug if there is a better place please move and/or let me know. |

that was good! One small error I noticed though: the narrator claims the laser was invented the same year as Sputnik was launched in 1957 but actually it was invented in 1960.
