The problem with Galileo (beside running low on orbit-asjusting fuel), was that it was being *** FRIED *** by the radiation. Things were bad and progressively deteriorating.
Now at the inner moons.. Dione inwards and especially Enceladus inwards. Saturn has some pretty bad radiation belts. People would need a lot of shielding, but it's nothing like Jupiter's belts. |
