Mars Rovers: Two Thousand Sunsets on Mars Summary : January 2004. Twin Rovers landed on opposite sides of Mars. Each Rover was to explore the surface for 90 days. Three years later, each rover approaches their third anniversary with exciting new areas to explore. Just for those who aren't aready aware it's the "sky at night" tonight at 5 past midnight on BBC1 the subject is the mars rovers.
