Doug, feel free to delete this if it's improper or misplaced -- I don't recall the rules well enough to know -- but I thought it might be a subject of discussion of interest to some people here.

NASA chief Michael Griffin is facing inquiries from the Science and Technology subcommittee of the House of Representatives, according to this article, NASA Chief Improperly Destroyed Tapes of Meeting, from the Washington Post.

I don't know the full context, but this seems like a very serious -- i.e., potentially terminating -- charge.
