A while back, I posted sequences from Mariner 6 and 7. I wasn't fond of them as a movie at the time, but they have grown on me - they have a turn-of-the century nickelodeon look to them.
Mariner 6 http://www.strykfoto.org/mariner69/mariner6approach.gif Mariner 7 NAC http://www.strykfoto.org/mariner69/mariner7approach.gif WAC http://www.strykfoto.org/mariner69/m7approachWAC.gif The reason for the lack of rotation in the WAC approach sequence is the fact that it only spans about 35 minutes, while the NAC sequence spans more than three days. -------------------- |
