It depends how you do the maths - but today, tomorrow, at some point about now - Spirit is celebrating her second Martian Birthday.
As is traditional with such things (well, I did it last time) - I sent birthday cards to Cornell & JPL thanking the scientists and the engineers for their hard work and their efforts in taking us along for the adventure with them. Steve tells me that the Cornell card has safely arrived, and that their MER model is now wearing her badge right between the Navcams Doug |
