Husband Hill

Is the plan simply to drive up to the summit of the hill to survey the landscape and then eventually drive back down the other side? In the pancam images, I havent been able to see much evidence of bedrock in the hill like we saw in West Spur.

That's certainly a major component of the plan -- when you look at the orbital photos of the Columbia Hills, it's clear that the top of Husband Hill will allow a spectacular view of the embayed valley to its southeast, which includes some very large and dramatic layered terracing. They've officially said that they intend to use just such a panoramic survey to plan out their route from there.
